Is my signature legally valid?
Signu provides simple electronic signatures under eIDAS Article 3(10). Under Article 25(1), they cannot be denied legal effect solely because they are electronic. Some documents may require advanced or qualified signatures. You are responsible for choosing the correct level.
What happens if I exceed 1,000 documents?
Email hello@signu.eu before you keep sending. Signu does not charge per envelope. There is no automatic warning email yet.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Cancel on signu.eu/billing. Signed files remain in EU archive storage. You can self-host on DocuSeal.
What happens if Signu shuts down?
You remain the owner of your files. We will provide an export and DocuSeal self-hosting instructions.
Where is my data hosted?
On Hetzner infrastructure in Germany or Finland. Document storage is in EU object storage.
Do you support qualified electronic signatures?
Signu provides simple electronic signatures. For qualified signatures, use a qualified trust service.
